Skydance shares closed at $7.06 on October 14, 2026, down 22.2%, Variety reported that day. The trading movement followed distribution of approximately 471 million warrants to eligible Paramount Skydance Class B shareholders. Each warrant initially permits its holder to purchase one Skydance share for $12.

The warrants trade separately from the company’s common shares. Exercising them would raise capital while increasing the share count and diluting existing ownership. Variety tied the price movement primarily to the warrant distribution rather than describing it simply as a response to broader market pressure.
