SAG-AFTRA members have ratified the 2026 Television Animation Agreement and companion Basic Cable Animation Agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers. Deadline reported on October 29 that 94.95 percent of participating voters approved the contracts. The four-year agreements provide a cumulative 12.6 percent wage increase over their term.
The contracts also include enhanced artificial-intelligence protections, residual gains and increased contributions to health, pension and retirement plans. They take effect retroactively from July 1, 2026, and expire June 30, 2030. The ratification updates employment terms for performers working under the covered television-animation agreements.
