Fox and Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat Partner on 25 Short Form Drama Projects
The agreement creates a pipeline from vertical microseries to longer-form film and television.

Fox Entertainment and Kevin Hart's Hartbeat announced a microdrama partnership at MIPCOM Cannes on October 13, 2026. The initial slate comprises 25 live-action vertical titles spanning thriller, drama and faith-based storytelling. The projects are planned for the Codeblack, Essence and Revolt brands on Holywater Tech's My Drama platform.
Codeblack will become the platform's first dedicated branded channel. Fox Entertainment Studios receives a first look at feature film and television projects developed from those vertical series. Fox Entertainment Global will handle worldwide distribution following the titles' initial platform run.
