Banijay executives identified U.S. scripted television as an opportunity for growth during MIPCOM remarks reported by Deadline on October 12, 2026. Executive chairman Jeff Zucker discussed developing the business in the years ahead. Chief executive Marco Bassetti also addressed the company’s direction following its merger with All3Media.

The remarks pointed to Banijay’s existing international scripted operations as a foundation for further expansion. They did not announce a specific U.S. acquisition, production investment or timetable. The company’s stated ambitions therefore remain a strategic direction rather than a detailed new production commitment.
