YouTube is doubling its creator-development workshop sessions at MIPCOM Cannes compared with 2025, Tubefilter reported on September 9, 2026. The platform also plans a dedicated theater with presentations for creators twice daily. It will sponsor the opening-night party as the October 12–15 market brings digital businesses together with television companies.

The expanded schedule gives creators more opportunities to discuss building their entertainment businesses. It forms part of MIPCOM’s announced creator-economy program rather than a newly disclosed television commission. As of the October 11 coverage date, the workshop plans do not establish production deals or audience results.
