Cinemark reported record third quarter revenue of $1.1 billion, representing a 24 percent increase. The theater chain benefited from strong attendance for Spider-Man and The Odyssey, two of the year's highest grossing films.

The company's results established a new third quarter revenue record. The earnings announcement was reported November 3.
