Sam Mendes’ four-film Beatles project reached its 180th shooting day, producer Pippa Harris said during a London Film Festival discussion reported by Deadline on October 12, 2026. The films approach the band’s story through the perspectives of its individual members. All four are planned for theatrical release in April 2028.

Harris said the intention is for audiences to experience the films in cinemas during the same period. Her comments describe an interconnected release plan rather than confirming that every film opens on the same day. The production update establishes that shooting remained underway, not that the four features were completed.
