The success of Heated Rivalry has international buyers asking what comes next from Crave, Deadline reported on October 8, 2026. The Canadian streamer commissioned the ice-hockey romance and operates within Bell Media. Bell Media president Sean Cohan described Canadian originals as central to the service’s identity.

Crave’s upcoming international slate includes Yaga, featuring Hudson Williams and Carrie-Anne Moss, and softball drama Slo Pitch. Sphere Abacus is handling sales for the titles described in the report. The buyer interest points to distribution opportunities for Canadian programming without establishing that every proposed series has secured an overseas sale.
