Warner Bros. faces a projected $245 million theatrical loss on Digger, Variety reported on October 11, 2026, citing knowledgeable sources. The Tom Cruise film’s domestic ticket sales declined 60 percent in its second weekend. Its cumulative grosses reached $14.4 million domestically and $35.3 million worldwide.

Alejandro González Iñárritu directed the R-rated environmental satire. The updated projection followed an earlier estimate of $150 million to $200 million in theatrical losses. The figures remain estimates for the theatrical run rather than a finalized accounting of the film’s lifetime revenue.
