Apple Original Films released the trailer for Being Heumann on October 12, 2026. Siân Heder writes, directs and produces the drama, with Ruth Madeley portraying disability-rights activist Judy Heumann. Mark Ruffalo also stars in the film, which revisits the 1977 occupation of a San Francisco federal building in the fight for equal rights.

Apple announced a November 6 release in select theaters and a November 13 global Apple TV premiere. The trailer arrived ahead of the film’s London Film Festival gala presentation. Both distribution dates remained upcoming on the October 12 coverage date.
